You asked for it... You got it! This web page provides the MIL-STD-129 reference for obliterating markings, a link to a paint CID (A-A-208B) with National Stock Numbers (NSNs), links to MIL-C-46168 & MIL-C-53039 documents, how to order FED-STD-595, and a list of CARC paint NSNs for our DoD customers to order approved paints for properly obliterating the markings from containers for reuse.
