The DLA Packaging Team is committed to streamlining processes, reducing administrative costs, and assisting contractors on the road to success by providing the most economical and optimum performance packaging designs to our customers to support DOD missions. Our diverse, unified, and proactive team of 24 Packaging Specialists and 4 Packaging Support personnel are here to help you in your military packaging endeavors. DLA Packaging Specialists have been trained and certifiedExternal Link: Leaving DSCC by the School of Military Packaging Technology and the National Institute of Packaging, Handling and Logistics Engineers. As a result of our staff's commitment to excellence and innovative efforts, they have gathered numerous accolades and prestigious awards, such as the DoD Packaging Excellence Award, the NIPHLE Packaging Achievement Award, the DoD Citation for Meritorious Achievement, and the Packaging Hall of Fame.

    Our Packaging Specialists are available to answer any questions regarding military packaging requirements, report of discrepancy actions, unit of issue challenges, packaging of hazardous materials, and evaluate any proposals of which commercial packaging would jointly benefit the contractor, DLA, and meet our customers military requirements.
