The purpose of displaying the DD Form 1387 is to demonstrate the required bar code items only. The required bar code items are: Block number 1 (Transportation Control Number), Block number 9 (Ultimate Consignee or Mark For), and Block number 16 (Piece Number).

Information on the DD Form 1387 is taken from the shipping instructions provided by our Transportation office. We have developed a shipping instruction web page that identifies the data on the shipping papers to the corresponding blocks on the DD Form 1387.
