MIL-STD-3018, Change Notice 1 - Parts Management, Department of Defense Standard Practice, dated 27 October 2011 - This document is intended to: (1) assist Acquisition Activities in preparing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), Statements of Work (SOWs), offeror instructions, etc.; and (2) assist contractors in preparing proposals and structuring their parts management processes.

Part Approval Requests – Submit your part approval requests through the web! This spreadsheet is provided as a method to request multiple parts on one form. There are three tabs; two must be completed by the requestor.

  • Open the spreadsheet and save it to your computer.
  • Complete the necessary information and save the spreadsheet again.
  • Open a blank email and attach the spreadsheet.
  • Email the spreadsheet to DSCC.PartsSupport@dla.mil.
