Project Announcement

The Defense Supply Center, Columbus contemplates issuing solicitations for direct support contracts for CONUS/OCONUS for the Federal Supply Class (FSC) groupings listed below. The tentative requirement is to design a complete worldwide supply chain to support various FSCs within time definite delivery time frames. The initial intent is to solicit by FSC or FSC grouping with one or more contracts per solicitation. It is not the government’s intent to award one contract for all groupings.

The Government contemplates issuing solicitations that may result in contracts up to 5 years. Each solicitation may constitute one or more FSC grouping. Prospective vendors may respond to individual or all groupings. Request interested parties review the Request for Information and complete the questionnaire cited below.


RFI closing date is October 5, 2008.

Please note that visitors are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes prior to the event in order to get through the visitor security check in process in a timely manner.

Note: The NSN population spreadsheets dated 15 June 2009 have been removed and replaced with new spreadsheets dated 14 Sep 09, which are listed in the new section below.

Listing of Updated FSC Groupings (14 September 2009):

Note: The spreadsheets above contain the most current NSN groupings expected to be solicited. All previous versions of the NSN groupings should be discarded and no longer referenced. Each FSC Grouping will have its own best value. It is expected offerors will be required to propose pricing on at least 90% of the core NSNs for each FSC Grouping. It is anticipated that these lists will remain unchanged when the RFP is issued, however, NSNs could still be removed. Updated demand data for all core NSNs should be posted next week. FSCs 4820, 5330, and 5331 have been removed from the initiative.
